David Tunkl Fine Art was founded in Los Angeles in 1977, by fine art dealer, David Tunkl. David Tunkl Fine Art offers its clients a wealth of knowledge and experience in art collecting and navigating the rapidly evolving modern and contemporary art market.

In 1985, David moved to Zurich and successfully began sculpting his place in the highest echelon of procuring and selling the most distinct and eminent works by the most important artists of the 20th century, such as Francis Bacon, Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, Alberto Giacometti, Salvador Dali, Rene Magritte, Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning.

At this time it became apparent to David, that he felt most comfortable selling art as a private dealer.

In 1993, David returned to his hometown of Los Angeles and has since continued to acquire and sell these most distinct art works having a hand in deciding their next resting place.
